1. Install Liner and cells

Install liner and add cells to your GRÖNFELD planter. Finish up by installing the inlet pipe.

2. Perlite and soil

Open the bag of perlite and lightly sprinkle some water over the perlite granules to prevent them from blowing away. Distribute the perlite evenly into all four feet of each of the cells. Add soil of good quality.

3. Add water

How often you need to refill the water reservoir depends on the types of plants you are growing, the season, and the amount of natural rainfall you receive.
Based on our experience, it is possible to go up to four weeks before refilling the planter box is necessary.

It is recommended to let the water level in the capillary bed drop to at least 1/4 full before refilling. This helps ensure proper soil aeration.
