In the Geldern region of the Netherlands you find the Gardens of Appeltern – the largest garden park in the Netherlands with more than 200 inspirational gardens.
GRÖNFELD exhibit
GRÖNFELD are lucky to be a part of these beautiful gardens. In the sections 110, 118 and 136 you can experience a variety of GRÖNFELD raised beds in our materials: Powder coated aluminium, corten steel, raw iron and galvanised iron. Also, a corten steel planter is placed by the big greenhouse and in the restaurant situated by the entrance the GRÖNFELD raised garden beds are used as roomdividers.
Inspiration
The garden park has been laid out in a way that will inspire you and help form ideas for your own garden. A walk through the 23-hectare park is an experience for all senses. The most recent garden materials, accessories, plants and furniture will provide you with endless inspiration.
History
The first gardens were made around 1990 by professional gardener Ben van Ooyen, created around his home. Nowadays the more than 200 inspirational gardens are modified and transformed on a regular basis and new ones are added. Also new seasonal workshops offering practical activities are offered.
